Duracell
$4.00Price
This Duracell variant comes from the mind of IB and Andy Fishing... it's more or less a thread frenchie version of the original created by Craig Mathews--with CDC fibers of course. The body is made from a UV-brown body quill--which is the identical color to the ice dubbing used on the original. This fly has the same success as Duracell... but it cuts through the water column much much faster since it doesn't have all that body dubbing on it. The Duracell fly pattern is a great attracter... perfect for low-light conditions, slightly stained water, or winter (cold water). It needs to be in your box for these scenarios... and you'll find more success with this version (I wouldn't be tying/using it if I didn't believe it to be so).
