This leader formula is perhaps the #1 reason I'm able to put my yarn indicators and nymphs where I need them... and have them land on the water in a way that improves efforts to eliminate drag. This is not my own invention though... inspiration comes from Domenick Swentosky of Troutbitten. Our Indicator Leader formulas are very similar, but my tippet rings are smaller, and I highly recommend much smaller tippets. These formulas are durable and can potentially last a few years if treated with the appropriate amount of care. We will tie them as each order is placed. Please allow for 1 week to process, ship, and be delivered. Each leader is tied in a manner to allow for loop-to-loop connections... however--I don't recommend them at all. I cut the loops off of my leaders and tie directly to my fly line. This significantly improves the leaders' performance and usually eliminates the hang-ups/tangles that naturally occur when casting yarn indicators with loop-to-loop connections (especially in the wind). Also--anytime utilizing indicators, please be aware to avoid direct over-the-head casts.... and make sure you give your line time to fully unfold on your back-cast.
